The ideal candidate will be responsible for industrial control panel build and integration, power-up, testing/debug. Work independently and within a team environment to meet deadlines while providing communication to team members.

Work in a clean, modern, air-conditioned shop with new equipment & machinery.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years' experience as electrical technician and or panel building. Electronic device application and assembly
• 2-4 years' experience with HMI wiring
• Component application/assembly with switches, terminal blocks, transformers, motor drives and overcurrent protective drive
• Basic knowledge of communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCAT

• Basic knowledge of VFDs, servomotors, and motion control.

• Power, control, and safety circuit design while adhering to industrial standards such as UL508A, CE, and CSA.
• Control panel layouts, schematic drawings (electrical and fluid power), and bill of materials.

• Technical Training, Trade school or other relating programs preferred.

Essential Talents

• Working familiarity of UL508A standard
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and record results.
• Layout and assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and mounting of electrical components, units, subassemblies, wiring, fasteners and soldering.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
• Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.
